Barrett Schmidt holds MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University. She holds a Tennessee state license and is a member of NCC, TF-CBT, currently working on art therapy practitioner cert., trauma cert.

I have been a counselor for 4 Years now including internship. I received a trauma certificate and completed trauma focused training at Richmont alongside my Clinical Mental Health degree. I am currently on the road towards licensure and have my temporary licensure as of November. I see ages 10+ and especially enjoy working with teenagers and young adults. I predominately see trauma and OCD but have clients with many different struggles and enjoy seeing a variety of issues including spiritual concerns. I also lead a therapeutic art group for a variety of struggles including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and trauma.
