Madison Methodist Church

Madison Methodist Church is proudly part of the worldwide movement of the Global Methodist Church, which began in May 2022. Shortly after, in August 2023, Madison Methodist Church was established. MMC was established because a strong biblical focus is needed now more than ever in an ever-changing world. With a hope to re-ignite a Biblically focused Methodist Movement in Madison, Georgia, and Morgan County, a group of laypeople began to gather, pray, and ask God to guide them. Of course,  the Bible is the only book we all truly need to discover the truth of Jesus Christ. It serves as the foundation for our church’s mission, teachings, and community life in our discipleship of Jesus Christ.

The secondary resource Madison Methodist Church uses to evaluate the congregation’s theology, doctrine, and governance is the Book of Doctrines & Disciplines of the GMC. This book helps clarify what we believe, stand for, and how Global Methodists engage in congregational life, mission, and governance.
